WIFE POINT OF VIEW
Q. Were you his first wife?
A. Yes, I was the first wife and then he married two more after
me.
Q. Did he tell you he wanted marry another woman or was it a
surprise to you?
A. Yes, he used to mention it and I thought it was a joke, but
when it happened for real, I was taken completely by
surprise.
Q. How did you feel when he married another
girl?
A. I was devastated, very depressed. I thought of giving him a
divorce because I saw a different person the way he was treating
me, but I didn’t file for divorce because we had two kids together.
Q. How did the kids feel when their father married another lady?
A. They were very young and naive, so they didn’t really
understand what was happening.
Q. Does he treat you fairly?
A. No, I feel as if he is fed up with me.
Q. How many years has it been since he started
marrying other women?
A. It’s been five years.
Thank you for your time

did it, but now there’s no way to go back.

A. Because I want to "protected the honor of the family
and romantic love" (Slonim-Nevo 315).

them?
A. I try to make time, but it usually never works out.

from each wife.

wife?
A. We all live together.

together?
A. It is responsibility. It is challenging too have many wives.
